About Sal Rastegar

Sal Rastegar is a consultant and corporate trainer in sustainability, regulatory and soft skills education. His undergraduate education is in Environmental Planning and Agriculture Economics with graduate education in Environmental Management. He has served in the public sector and has worked in the private sectors in Environmental and Consumer Health, including methane and tetrachloride abatement project management.

 

 
 

 

 

He is a professional public speaker and has a strong background in product marketing, sales management, classroom training, and executive level consulting and rolling out large scale online training for dozens of organizations including the School Nutrition Association, Hyatt Regency, and Pappas chain restaurants. 

 


 

He has created and implemented training and evaluation programs for national companies such as Laboratory Corporation of America and has expertise in implementation of bridges and interfaces of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for medical practices. 

 

He is a consultant to the National Science Foundation for evaluation of Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program and environmental research and education proposals. 

 

He has given educational presentation to large groups of high school seniors for success habits incollege in a program sponsored by PriceWaterHouseCoopers, PNC Banks, and IBM. In addition, he has taught courses on marketing to employees of semiconductor industry and implemented training programs in the hospitality industry. His professional service includes serving on cultural awareness and diversity education for state and city governments. Sal Rastegar has been interviewed by Radio and TV programs and his creative ventures include production of short films and hosting of his own radio programs.

 

He has designed the GreenROI signature course which has been taught at universities, green building events, construction expos, private corporations, and in webinar format.
